According to multiple reports, Jaswinder Basi, believed to be affiliated with the Hells Angels Nomads chapter in Ontario, was allegedly the intended target of the shooting. Police have not officially confirmed the target’s identity, but investigators continue examining connections to organized crime activity and gang-related tensions in the region.
The Surrey Police Service stated officers responded shortly before 2:30 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired at a business in the Cloverdale area. Upon arrival, investigators discovered damage caused by gunfire, though no injuries were reported.
