Teagan Leonard Grain Valley, Missouri Death-Obituary: Funeral Date For Teagan Leonard Has Been Announced

Family, friends, and the community of Grain Valley are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Teagan Alivia Leonard, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at just 19 years old. Her passing has left loved ones devastated as they reflect on a young life filled with promise, compassion, intelligence, and love.

Those closest to Teagan describe her as the answer to a lifelong hope for her parents, Vincent Leonard and Shauna Leonard. From the moment she entered their lives, they say she brought completeness, joy, and purpose to their family.

Teagan was remembered as smart, witty, observant, and deeply compassionate. She loved fiercely and formed meaningful bonds with those fortunate enough to be part of her life. Her connection with her brothers, Gavin Leonard and Gage Leonard, was especially cherished, growing stronger with each passing year. She also shared a sister-like relationship with Aishwarya Aryal, affectionately known as Ash, whom loved ones say became the sister Teagan always wanted.

Driven and ambitious, Teagan had already earned both her CNA and Esthetician licenses by age 19 while continuing her studies to become a nurse. Family members say there was never any doubt about her determination — once she set her mind on something, she pursued it wholeheartedly.

Teagan found happiness in traveling, trying new foods, and sharing those experiences with people she loved. Her family remembers her excitement in bringing home snacks or drinks for everyone to try, especially her father. She also adored her cats, particularly Moose, whom she loved with incredible tenderness.

She is survived by her parents, brothers, grandmothers, extended family, friends, and her boyfriend, Eli Hernandez, who held a special place in her heart.

A visitation will be held on May 29, 2026, at Royer Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life honoring Teagan’s memory.

Though her life was tragically short, Teagan Alivia Leonard will forever be remembered for her kindness, ambition, gentle heart, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
